Frequently Asked Questions
-
Absolutely! Most children who come in are just getting started. You don't need modeling experience to create professional images. My job is to help your child feel comfortable and capture natural expressions that showcase their personality.
-
Choose simple, well-fitting clothing in solid colors or subtle patterns. Avoid large logos, character graphics, and distracting prints. Bringing different outfit options is a great way to add variety. Once you book, I'll send a detailed clothing guide with suggestions to help you prepare.
-
For an Agency Headshot Session, one or two outfits are usually plenty. For a Model Starter Session, bring three to four outfits, and for an Agency Submission Session, plan on bringing several outfits that show different looks, such as casual, dressy, and something that reflects your child's personality.
-
That's completely normal! Every child warms up at their own pace. I take the time to help children feel comfortable before expecting big smiles or confident poses. Some of the best photographs happen after a few minutes of simply talking, playing, and letting your child be themselves.
-
Most agencies prefer clean, natural photographs that show your child's personality. Typical submissions include close-up headshots, three-quarter portraits, and full-length images with simple clothing, natural expressions, and minimal retouching. The goal is to show what your child truly looks like, not an overly edited version.
-
Many agencies accept snapshots for an initial application, especially for young children. However, professional photographs can help present your child at their best and provide a variety of high-quality images if an agency requests additional photos or your child begins booking auditions.
-
No. Modeling and agency images should look like your child. I make light adjustments such as color correction and minor skin cleanup when appropriate, but I don't change facial features or create an unrealistic appearance.
-
Yes! A parent or legal guardian is required to stay throughout the session. Your encouragement helps younger children feel comfortable, and we'll work together to create a fun, relaxed experience.
-
Agency Headshot Sessions are about 20 minutes.
Model Star Sessions are about 45 minutes.Agency Submission Sessions last up to 90 minutes, allowing time for outfit changes, breaks, and a variety of images.
-
Your online gallery is typically ready within one week. You'll be able to choose your favorite images based on the collection you purchased, and additional images are always available if you'd like more.
-
Not at all! These sessions are also perfect for children pursuing acting, talent agencies, commercials, auditions, or anyone who simply wants clean, professional headshots with a natural look.
