The magic behind all things at Studio Q Photography in Vancouver, WA!
—
The owner and operator of Studio Q Photography (formerly Fraley Photography) here in Vancouver, WA. I’ve been in business since 2008, but my love for photography started way back in high school. Over the years, my passion has grown into something truly magical—especially when it comes to capturing fairies, pets, families, children, and high school seniors.
I’m a mom of two grown kids (still hard to believe!) and have been married to the man since 1992. Life with little ones goes by in a blink of an eye—trust me, I remember when mine were little rugrats terrorizing my home. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping families preserve the fleeting, beautiful moments that mean the most.
My sessions are laid back and calming—I want you to feel at ease so I can capture your family’s natural connection and love.
Studio Q was actually inspired by Star Trek 🖖—a little nod to the character Q, who made things interesting (and unpredictable), kind of like life and kids. If you’ve noticed Trek quotes sprinkled around the site, now you know why. I’m also a huge Alice In Chains fan, because I still think it’s the ‘90s, and a little grunge never hurt anyone 🤘.
Ready to create some magic together? Whether you're planning a fairy session, a senior portrait, or a family shoot, I’d love to help you capture memories that will last a lifetime. Contact me here to start planning your session!
Hi, I'm Tammy 👋
Why I Love Photography
A while ago, I watched the documentary The Way I See It—and OMG. It was powerful, emotional, and deeply moving. It reminded me just how important this work really is.
I mean, I know that... but in the busy day-to-day of running a business, it’s easy to lose sight of the deeper “why.” Photography isn’t just about pretty pictures. It’s about capturing a fleeting moment—one that might otherwise be forgotten. It’s about preserving a piece of now, not just for ourselves, but for our families and for the generations that come after us.
These moments matter. They’re ours to hold onto, and to pass forward.
Don’t ever forget that.
