Many of my clients still tell me, years later, how much they treasure the finished products from their sessions. I always put my heart into every portrait to ensure that each moment is captured with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Classic Canvas prints enhance the aesthetic of a family room, a child's room, or any space they occupy.
I work with a professional lab that takes extra care to ensure your Classic Canvas prints are of the highest quality. Unlike most labs, they hand-strip the resin-coated layer from the back of your print to reveal the paper fibers, allowing the adhesive to be directly applied into the fibers. This delicate process brings out the maximum texture of the canvas, giving your image an incredible depth and feel.
Once this is done, the print is placed in a specially designed press to bond it to the artist’s canvas under heat and pressure. The result is a print that’s embedded in the canvas fibers and won’t separate over time. It’s then mounted on either 1/8” Masonite or ¾” stretcher strips, ensuring it stays sturdy and durable.
To finish, your print is coated with a real lacquer (not the typical water-based coatings you find at most labs), providing superior protection against UV light, handling, and abrasions. The lacquer also adds a beautiful sheen, enhancing the depth and dimension of the image. This attention to detail is why classic canvas is the preferred choice for achieving a “painted” effect.
